About the Leadership Academy
What We Do
The Al Davis | Eddie Robinson Leadership Academy was created to reflect the values and vision of two iconic leaders whose impact reached far beyond the field. This Academy exists to help young people—many of whom haven’t traditionally had access—find their place in the business of sports.
From front office operations and legal affairs to marketing, player development, and community initiatives, our work is centered on opening doors behind the scenes—where strategy, leadership, and long-term decisions are made.
This isn’t a traditional program. It’s an environment for growth, mentorship, and exposure to real opportunities. The goal is simple: build confidence, create access, and help each participant develop the tools and relationships needed to succeed—not just in sports, but in life.

Youth Leadership
We believe leadership starts early. Our youth programs introduce high school students to the principles of discipline, confidence, and teamwork — while exposing them to real career opportunities in the sports industry.

Career Pathways
We open doors to real-world careers within sports organizations — from front office leadership and coaching to business operations, community engagement, finance, and strategy. Our programs are designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and connections needed to build meaningful, long-term careers in the sports industry.
Mentorship and Leadership Training
Through mentorship programs, participants will receive hands-on guidance from seasoned professionals in the sporting world. Our leadership training focuses on building the skills necessary to thrive in leadership roles within the industry.
Youth Leadership
We aim to engage high school and college students to provide them with pathways to future careers as leaders in the sports industry through internships, on the job training, and more.
Inclusive Leadership
The Academy’s core mission is to create pathways by forming strategic partnerships with sports organizations and leaders committed to expanding access and opportunity. Together, we’re elevating underrepresented voices into boardrooms, onto the field, and into leadership roles across the sports industry.
